Join us on October 21, 2014 on 9:00am from12:00pm at Carthage Central School District for our Chromebook User Group. Chromebooks have changed the way districts look at management, teaching, collaboration, and instruction. The Chromebook User Group will provide teachers and technology leaders the opportunity to share successes, collaborate with others to solve roadblocks, share best practices, and work to further effectively integrate Chromebooks in their districts. STEM GEMS: Cybertools to Enhance STEM Education for Middle School/High School Webinar

FLL Coaches User Group: Preparing for the FIRST LEGO League Competition
Join us on October 6, 2014 and November 6, 2014 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Costello Transportation Center for our FLL Coaches User Group. For teachers planning to coach an FLL team for the 2014 World Class season, the FLL Coaches User Group series will provide an opportunity to review and share resources on various topics related to the robot game, research project and technical judging. It will also include technologies that support specific aspects of the competition, an overview of the Core Values portion of the competition, and programming and building resources to support your team’s development of their LEGO robot. Call for Nominations
The Mohawk Regional Information Center will be recognizing one administrator/technology coordinator, one teacher, and one student, from each of the four BOCES regions, who have provided outstanding leadership in the effective implementation and ongoing support of technology in the districts they serve.
